'If I Live, I will kill you. If I Die, You are forgiven.' Such is the Rule of Honor.
-Omerta by Lamb of God
So, after a few hours of ignoring the world in a completionist grindfest on Burnout: Paradise (as well as some GRiD Racing) I finally answered my phone which had been vibrating for hours on end. On the other line is a good friend of mine demanding that I come with him and a few other mutual friends to the Lamb of God concert tonight. We briefly argued about just how broke I was (Somewhere between damned poor and Deep-Couch-Penny-Diving Poor we determined) and finally agreed that he'd buy the tickets and I'd pay him back some eons in the future when the economy turns around and people are less conscious of couch's eating their pennies.
Now, Let it be known that I'm no raging Lamb of God fan. To make a long story short, I respect them as musicians, realize their damn talented and have some pretty interesting stuff, but for some reason they never really stuck for me... But I'm no fool. I know who Lamb of God is, and I'm sure as hell not missing one of their concerts; Especially if GWAR (another band that never really "stuck" for me) is the opening act. Anyone who frequents the concert scene (be it rock or rap) knows that even if you aren't a big fan of the music (or even have a distaste for it), you can still have a damned good time simply due to the atmosphere and people there. So hell yeah I went. And damn did I have a good time! Hot Chicks, Massive-Mosh-Pits and kickass over-the-top Metal? You bet I'm there! On a side note, I've never been so physically exhausted after a show... ![]()
Better yet, I didn't even have to wait in line for the concert! Why? Because I went to a job interview at 6pm and didn't get out till damned near 7:30 (a full hour after the doors opened). Now, I feel I gave a good interview and have all the necessary qualifications, and really really want this job, but unfortunately, for some reason, I just don't have a good feeling about it. Here's to hoping I'm wrong

Mixing it up this time. Here's a lovely deviant with less than 10,000 pageviews that deserves some recognition. I don't generally pay much attention to models and related photography, but this is one I'd definitely keep an eye on as time goes on, I see a lot of potential here; not to say what she's already accomplished isn't awesome in its own right
.
And here's a deviant with even less pageviews. Despite being more of a Digitally Inclined person, I'm often captivated by my rare trips through the Traditional Art Gallery, and this deviant's work in particular caught my eye. there's something about the minimalism of their work that really intrigues me. Enjoy ![]()

thats nice,.. thank you!
But I do remember trying (and yes I mean trying) to headbang to Pantera during Ozzfest 2000...
I so fell over in the grass...
Headbanging while high and dehydrated on a hill... not such a good idea...
I used to listen to Gwar back in HS.. I miss it..

I'm a short yet stocky chick.
If I lost my weight, I would probably be a very tiny one.
I'm not big boned, and at 5'2".. yea.. I wouldn't stand a chance in a moshpit.. though I love the music that goes with it..
